about the crystal image

"...not to render the visible, but to render visible."
Paul Klee

- The Crystal image is about photography in any possible way that we might imagine it.
- We don't believe in 'styles'. Any kind of photography can produce amazing images. So we don't limit ourselves in one direction.
- We don't have a preference over digital or film. We use both, and we like mixing them.
- We don't believe in pure photography, and therefore we don't have any problem with post processing. Many of the photos on this blog are without any, but that doesn't mean that we don't use it.
- We don't believe in the perfect shot and we don't look for it.
- We are not professional photographers. We believe that most of the times professional photographers produce ugly photographs. So we feel lucky not to be.

The Crystal image @ blogspot in particular is more about the technical aspects of photography. An attempt to share information and experience on the tools and techniques.
We love cameras and lenses. All of them. We don't believe that there are good and bad cameras and lenses; just ones that do different things. So we try to discover or maybe invent some of those things, and then share them.
