This is the first post for the crystal image. Hopefully many more will follow. You can read a 'manifesto' of sorts for us here.
This first 2 photographs were taken with the Pentax Q and the Pentax 01 (8.5mm, f.1.9) prime lens. There are many nice things about the Q. Its size and design is one (unfortunately the latest versions, Q10 & Q7 did away with the good design). The 5.5 crop factor that can turn a simple standard lens into a telephoto is another. But its ability to accept almost any kind of lenses through adapters is maybe its best feature. It even gave new life to those old 8mm film, d-mount lens (more on that soon).
